Description: black cherry and an opulent aroma, firm and dry, with a pleasant freshness. The soil is galestro, a type of soil composed of breakable clay rocks and peculiar to Tuscany. The vines are planted at a density of 6200 per Hectare and all use spur pruned cordon.

Vinification: fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, followed by a maturation of 22 months in French oak tonneaux (50% new, 25% 1 year old and 25% 2 years old) and then rested in bottle for 2 years.
Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Cabernet Franc 25%, Petit Verdot 50%.
Alcohol: 14.5% vol.

Pairings: dark fruit and floral aromas make this wine a perfect pairing for duck, venison or other wild game. The complexity and soft tannin in this wine also make it suitable to drink on its own without any pairing.
