Description: Ragu di Chianina is a Tuscan meat sauce that is made using beef obtained from the world-renowned breed of cattle called Chianina, which is endemic to the Val di Chiana area. The ragu combines Chianina beef with a tomato-based sauce, extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, wine, spices and pork, for a delicate but distinctive flavour.
How to use: this Ragu is a sauce for pasta. It can be enjoyed with various pasta types, among which pappardelle, tagliatelle and pici – but you can use any other kind as well. If you are cooking pasta for two people, one jar is normally sufficient. Tips: warm up the Ragu separately in a pan with some cooking water (from the pasta pot); after draining the pasta, pour this in the pan with the Ragu and stir.
Size: 0.18 kg
How to preserve: once opened, it is advised to keep the Ragu in the refrigerator and consume it within three days. In any case, it is important to always check the appearance and smell of the product before consuming it, in order to ensure its freshness and healthiness.
