Description: Marroncino, a flavoured Grappa, is a unique product resulting from the meticulous maceration of Grappa with alcohol and Marroni – the “cousin” of chestnuts. The intriguing blend yields a product that reveals an aroma of grappa, while offering a surprisingly velvety, soft mouthfeel. The secret technique employed by Lombardi e Visconti remains closely guarded. Interestingly, the flavour of Marroni emerges subtly, lingering as an exquisite aftertaste. Marroni, known for their reluctance to release their aromatic properties, contribute to the liqueur’s distinctive character.
How to use: given the pleasantness and easiness on the palate of this flavoured Grappa (where the Marroni is perceived in a persistent way), especially in the Summer, serve Marroncino at a temperature of about 10/12° C.
