Description: Agresto Delle Crete exhibits an amber hue that tends toward garnet. Its aroma is moderately intense, characterized by fruity and fresh vegetal notes. The dominant flavour is acidic, balanced by a subtle sweetness. The flavouring process occurs “a freddo” (at cold temperatures) and involves the use of fruits, particularly apples, dried grapes, and figs. This Agresto also incorporates wine vinegar and undergoes maceration for several months, during which it develops a gentle fermentation.
How to use: extremely versatile, it is the most suitable for replacing vinegar in salad dressings, on meat and vegetables, as well as for general cooking purposes.
